Grand Slam Kiel Week: 17th place
My first Kiel Week is over! Another Grand Slam, another personal best with 17th place.
We deliberately planned this regatta as training and tried out a lot of things – not all of them worked. That's part of the learning process and I'm happy with my progress.

Thanks @my new coach Jakub Kozelsky
Many thanks to my coach Squad Ilca 6 Swiss Sailing Team Jakub Kozelsky.
Jakub from Qingdao: „It was very special Worlds. I am sure Anja has gained some valuable experience and looking forward to build on it. The regatta was mentally very demanding. All sailors had to kept focused first 4 days when we had to wait all day just to be racing postponed for another day and then all this peak event has happened in two days in two very extreme conditions - very light wind and strong currents and last day very windy and shifty condition.“

11th Place World Champion 2025 in Qingdao (China)
Anja even fought in the top 10 until the last race and finished the championship in a very good 11th place (last year 28th place).
Anja from Qingdao: „A tricky event, lots of waiting, racing only 2 out of 6 days and finally a new personal best at worlds.
Half of the races were held in light wind and current, the second half in really strong wind, Qingdao really tested us. I am happy to see the progress in all conditions and to confirm that we are on the right track.
Thank you to coach&team as well as all my sponsors and family. Your support means the world.“

Winter training in Australia comes to an end
The last bit of the 4 month training block is done, in literal paradise!
Thank you Esperance Bay Yacht Club for having us. it's honestly such a cool place to sail with those big waves, dolphins playing with us most days and the bluest water ever.
The past 4 months have been incredibly productive but also heaps of fun.
